Tricam 10-inch No Flat Hand Truck Tires

I just ordered some solid tires to replace the dreaded pneumatic tires on my Harper Hand Truck. After checking with Google shopping I chose Amazon.com for it’s free shipping and splurged for the Tricam MH2375 Universal 10-Inch No Flat Tire, Red
I chose the red ones because, at the same price, they look ridiculous. A bonus.

Just checking in to let you know I’ll be updating the site a bit more regularly now that I’ve returned from a long summer break.

  2. One tire on my Harper hand truck (Lowe’s, HD, or warehouse club- not sure which) likewise blew apart after light use/just sitting around. Thanks for your input. This was a slightly different (P-single-handle) model, but likewise sold at a “budget” price.
Have you installed it yet? Does the color pigment of the solid tire stain your floors as you run your truck over them?
I, too, need to replace my tire, and have been looking around for best choices, as well as people sharing techniques. How do you remove the cotter pin that holds the wheel to the axle?
    Thanks !

  3. Flueri,
Getting the cotter pin off is simple with a pair of pliers.
Yes, I installed the red wheels and I have used my handtruck almost everyday since. I’m not sure if I getting weaker by the day but I’ve found it to be very helpful.

The coloring does not come off on the floor. I bought red, which seems like it would be better than black if it rubbed off but there’s no such worry.

The new wheels are perfect but they were pricey! I paid $40 through Amazon, yet the handtruck was that much to begin.

I checked my options and decided I liked the simplicity of this Harper Hand-Truck over a replacement model and bought the new wheels.
    No worries, no complaints.

The color of the red wheels is more orange than red. – comic relief while carrying – my handtruck has red wheels.

  4. My new RED WHEELS, left outside for 2 days, are NOW ORANGE WHEELS. (Apparently they do not hold up to Autumn UV)
