Tool: Bucket Boss Brand 2″ Liars Suspenders

Starting this article with the phrase: “Maybe I got a bad pair but…” might not be as bad as me saying: Don’t click the hyperlink Bucket Boss Brand Liars Suspenders to buy these suspenders.

These suspenders are not only crap, they are completely worthless. Despite the silly pattern and good sized clips the elastic bands aren’t designed to hold a more than a few ounces and the suspender wouldn’t adjust to fit this 5′-10″ carpenter.

My Bucket Boss Suspenders are 2″ elastic bands printed to resemble a tape measure. They have fat clips that easily bound to my leather tool belt and a leather patch with the words The Boss printed large.

Experience:

The long-lived red suspenders on my tool belt finally snapped and I replaced them with these ridiculous tape measure-looking suspenders. The first problem started as I adjusted them to fit. I tightened them all the way around to the back to their shortest setting – as tight as they will go.

The elastics stretched all the way out and my tool belt hung near my knees. LOL at this product, what a joke. I ended up tying a big knot in each side to take up the slack.

Using suspenders to hold a tool belt really takes a lot of pressure off the waist and makes carrying around tools much less of a burden. I have always used suspenders with my belt. These won’t due.

Comments:
The pair of Boss suspenders I got are the weakest product I have experienced in 2011. Not even worth the paper they stamped the price on. Don’t buy them, even for a joke – 100% waste of money and time. The company’s website says something about spitting in the face of conventional wisdom … I say Bucket Boss has made the worst product I’ve experienced in a long time. I will gladly take proper pictures, send these suspenders in for testing by any facility or ship them directly to anyone who thinks I am jaded or embellishing. My bucket boss tape-measure suspenders are worthless.
